OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T 5G were there two most recent launches from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus. Now, company the seems to be coming with another smartphone series called the OnePlus 9 series. A couple of new live images of the upcoming OnePlus 9 have just been leaked online which also reveals a number of key features of the device.

As first reported by folks at 91mobiles, the OnePlus 9 series of phones are expected to be launched at some point in March 2021, with a flat display and corner hole-punch cutout. The report also reveals that the OnePlus 9 will have a 4,500mAh battery that will support 65W regular fast charging and also 30W fast reverse wireless charging, much like the OnePlus 8 Pro. If this is true, then the OnePlus 9 would the first OnePlus device to comes with the reverse wireless charging tech.

The report also shares a couple of other details about the upcoming OnePlus 9 series smartphone. The lineup is widely expected to include three models, namely, OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and the OnePlus 9 Lite.

We also expect OnePlus 9 to come powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and Android 11. While, the OnePlus Lite is expected to come with the Snapdragon 865 chipset, 65W fast charging support, and a price tag of around $600 (approx Rs 44,200).

The pricing and other details about the OnePlus 9 series aren’t yet known, so, for now, it will be better to wait for an official announcement from OnePlus and finally reveal their upcoming OnePlus line up for 2021.
