Cyberpunk 2077: Day One Patch and Epilepsy Warning Issued by Developers

Today Cyberpunk 2077 came on the market. The developer CD Projekt has published further statements on both the day-one patch and the epilepsy issue.

CD Projekt once again pointed out that Cyberpunk 2077 should not be started without a Day One patch. During the week, the company spoke of a “completely different” game after the update.

The following applies to console gamers: If you bought the digital PS4 version, you get the complete package. The game and the patch come to a total of 110 GB. It remains to be seen whether the Day One patch will solve all noteworthy problems. A Twitter user reports that, despite the patch installation, he recorded further inadequacies. CD Projekt warns of possible epilepsy in the terms of use. But this warning is not very present. The company wants to work on that. In a recent Twitter post, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077 emphasizes that a permanent solution should be brought into the game.

“Thank you for bringing this up. We’re working on adding a separate warning in the game, aside from the one that exists in the EULA. Regarding a more permanent solution, Dev team is currently exploring that and will be implementing it as soon as possible,” said the game’s official Twitter account.
