After the rumors this week, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection has now been officially announced with a first trailer. So far, however, the crisp adventure has only been confirmed for Nintendo Switch.
During the week we got a rumor that Capcom is currently working on Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, among other things. Tonight, the Japanese company officially announced the work on the crisp action platformer.
As already speculated, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection will be released on February 25, 2021, initially for the Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were not mentioned in today’s announcement, but according to an unconfirmed leak, the corresponding implementations will follow in June 2021.
Regardless of the new name and the revised graphic style, nothing has changed in the playful implementation of Ghosts ‘n Goblins. In “Resurrection” you slip into the role of the protagonist Arthur, who is once again faced with the task of saving a princess. Also, of course, the tough level of difficulty of the series should not be missing, which will demand everything from you this time as well.
Arthur will have a variety of ways to take out his enemies. Well-known weapons such as the classic lance or the deadly dagger are returning. There are also new, unique weapons such as the grueling hammer and the fatal spiked ball.
Magic will also be part of the game and Arthur is armed for his opponents with various spells such as Firewall or Thunderstorm.
