As per the official media invite by Lava, the company is all set the launch it’s new made in India smartphones including the Lava BeU in India on January 7 at 12 PM noon. Notably, Lava confirmed its new Beu smartphone last week through its official Facebook and YouTube accounts and now the company has finally revealed the official launch date for the device.
The new BeU smartphone comes with a 6.08-inch HD+ (720×1,560 pixels) display. The display is also protected by a 2.5D curved glass and has a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.6GHz, coupled with 2GB of DDR4 RAM. You get 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The new Lava BeU has Dymond studded design and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The BeU phone runs the Android 10 Go edition out of the box.
Talking about the rear camera, the phone has a 3MP + 2MP AF, with LED Flash, 1.12µm pixel, F 1.85. The rear camera can record videos in 1080p HD format. Upfront, you get an 8MP selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lava BeU packs a 4,060mAh lithium-polymer battery. For sensors, you get Fingerprint, Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient Light Sensor on the phone.
The new Lava BeU smartphone is an affordable smartphone priced at just Rs. 6,888. Lava says that the BeU is a smartphone that is made and carefully crafted for the free-spirited woman. The new BeU phone can be found listed already on the official website priced at Rs. 6,888 in Rose Pink color.
According to the report by Gadget 360, Lava is also expected to launch four other smartphones alongside the Lava BeU on January 7.
