Oppo has launched its latest A55 5G smartphone in China. The new Oppo A55 5G comes with a waterdrop notched display powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. At the rear, the phone has a triple rear camera setup that includes the main 13-megapixel camera.
The new Oppo A55 5G further includes a 3.5mm audio jack along with a USB Type-C port for charging. The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery with no fast charging support. The display is a 6.5-inch 60Hz HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD screen. Oppo A55 5G supports dual-SIM and runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.
The phone comes with 128GB of storage which can be expanded further (up to 1TB) via a micro SD card. The phone sports a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP portrait camera. Upfront you get an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The new Oppo A55 5G listed by JD.com priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the lone 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It is available in Brisk Blue and Rhythm Black colour options. No information on its global availability yet.
