Id Software will shortly be giving a first look at the upcoming DOOM Eternal expansion The Ancient Gods: Part 2. Those responsible have already provided the first pictures.
The first-person shooter DOOM Eternal is one of the most successful and at the same time best-rated games of the past year, which is why the developers at id Software wanted to offer enhancements. The expansion of The Ancient Gods was split into two parts due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first part was released for consoles and PC in October 2020. However, those responsible have not yet revealed any information about the second part of The Ancient Gods. However, this should change shortly.
As id Software has announced, a teaser trailer for The Ancient Gods – Part 2 will be published on Monday, March 15, 2021. The official artwork and some screenshots have also been published so that you can already get a small impression.
In DOOM Eternal, the Doom Slayer had once again taken on numerous demons who had found themselves on earth. With numerous weapons, some of which couldn’t be more powerful, he defended himself against the horde of demons. In keeping with the shooter series, the developers weren’t stingy with Gore’s presentation.
DOOM Eternal was released in March 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version was again released in December 2020.
