Dragon Ball Demon Breaker is undoubtedly an ambitious project. First of all, because it wants to catapult the universe of Goku and his companions in a game inspired by the famous Devil May Cry series, there is something never seen in the history of the franchise.

And then, above all, because it is a fan-made video game, and, looking at the numerous trailers posted by the Saiya-Slash Team (the developers of the title) on YouTube, it would not seem like it. The animations are fluid, the environments are immersive, the combat system is simple and intuitive: in short, it is a work that has all the credentials to breakthrough.

Today, with a trailer of around 30 seconds, the demo has been announced which will launch later in this month and we can’t wait to try it out. In the short video, you can see Trunks of the future – whom we will never stop thanking for saving Goku’s life – fighting against four soldiers of the army of the Demon Realm.

As for the plot, in Dragon Ball Demon Breaker, gamers will find themselves impersonating Trunks, son of Bulma and Vegeta, and will have to deal with a new enemy, the armies of the Demon Realm. To do this, you can also rely on the transformation into Super Saiyan, and this is a very similar mechanic to those used in the Devil May Cry series.

As for the possible release date, the Saiya-Slash Team guys are still not out of balance. In any case, the release of the demo by March 31st could represent a clue about the definitive release of the title, which could arrive, at this point, within a few months.

While waiting for the demo version to be released, it might be a good idea to replay Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, an open world that has been very successful both in terms of sales and in terms of criticism.
