According to several fans on Reddit, The Outer Worlds has received a new patch on Xbox Series X (26GB) that pushes the game to 60 fps. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the Xbox Seris S has also received the same patch bringing the game fare rate to 60 fps.

According to several players, they updated the game today with the latest patch which reportedly weighs at around 26GB on the Xbox Series X. Several users claimes that after updating to the latest patch are able to play the game at 60 fps.

The Outer Worlds is an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division. The game was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC back in October 2019 followed by Switch release in June 2020.

Update: The Outer Worlds has also received the latest patch update on PS5 that comes with version number 1.0.7 and also adds 60 fps support to the game.

Notably, since its original release, The Outer Worlds was only available to run at 30fps on all the major platforms. But, now according to several players on Reddit the game can now be played at 60fps with the latest game patch.
