LG has shared the complete list of phones which are eligible for receiving the latest Android 11, Android 12 and Android 13 updates in future. I would like to recall you here, that LG last week announced that it is going to shut down its mobile business by July 31, 2021. However, LG also made it clear that it will continue to support its current smartphones with OS and security updates.
Following its recent announcement LG has now shared the list of smartphones that are eligible for future updates through its official South Korea and Germany websites.
Below you can find the list of phones that will receive the Android 11 as per the South Korea and Germany websites:
LG Wing (South Korea, Germany)
LG Velvet (South Korea, Germany)
LG Velvet LTE (South Korea, Germany)
LG V50S (South Korea)
LG V50 (South Korea)
LG G8 (South Korea)
LG Q31 (South Korea)
LG Q51 (South Korea)
LG Q52 (South Korea)
LG Q61 (South Korea)
LG Q70 (South Korea)
LG Q92 (South Korea)
LG Q9 One (South Korea)
LG G8X (Germany)
LG G8S (Germany)
LG K52 (Germany)
LG K42 (Germany)
Notably, LG Velvet 5G has already received stable Android 11 update. The LG G8X is expected to get Android 11 by Q3 this year, while the rest of the phones listed on the German website are expected to get the update by Q4 this year.
