Ola Electric Scooter Bookings Now Open in India, How to Book, Price, Delivery Date, and More Updated

We all know Ola as one of the popular ride-hailing services in the country. Now, the company appears to be expanding its business in the electric two-wheeler segment. Ola is soon going to launch its first electric scooter in India called the Ola Scooter. The company hasn’t announced an official launch date nor the actual price yet. But, what reports are suggesting, Ola Scooter could be launch later this month in July 2021.

How to Book Ola Electric Scooter?

The good news is that you can now pre-book your Ola Scooter as the company has officially started taking bookings for its Ola Electric Scooter. Anyone who is interested in buying the Ola Scooter can pre-book the Ola Electric scooter by visiting the official website here. You can reserve your Ola Scooter by paying ₹499 using net banking, credit/debit cards, UPI, e-wallets, or through OlaMoney.

Charge of Booking the Ola Electric Scooter

People can book an Ola scooter just by playing small refundable deposit of Rs. 499. Ola says people who pre-book the Ola electric scooter will get priority delivery when they will officially start the delivery. People can also cancel the booking anytime and can get their Rs. 499 refunded to their original mode of payment within 7-10 working days.

Ola Scooter Delivery Date

Ola says, it will officially open Ola S1 for purchase from 15th September 2021 and will start delivering across 1000 cities and towns starting in October. Till then, Ola S1 is available for reservation at just INR 499.

What is the Price of the Ola electric scooter?

Ola S1 comes at a revolutionary price of Rs 99,999. This price is ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy and excludes state subsidies. Ola says that, In states with active subsidy grants, Ola S1 will be much more affordable than many petrol scooters.

For instance, after state subsidy in Delhi, the S1 would cost just Rs 85,099 whereas in Gujarat it would be only Rs 79,999. We have also tied up with banks and financial institutes for an EMI plan starting at Rs 2,999.

How to Track or Get Your Ola Booking Details?

Once your reservation is successful, Ola will send you the order ID and other details via SMS or email to the mobile number and email address you’ve provided (or to the mobile number or email (only verified ones) registered with us, if you are an existing Ola customer).

All Ola Scooters are proudly made in India, for the world, at the Ola Futurefactory, located in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.

How to Charge Your Ola Scooter?

The Ola scooter can be charged in two ways:

  • 1) Home Charging, using your home-charger in any 5A socket, at your home, workplace, or anywhere else.

Ola says that its Ola Hypercharger Network is so fast so that it can charge the Ola scooter battery up to 50% in just 18 minutes which can take you up to 75km. There will also be Automated, multilevel charging and parking systems in popular areas across multiple cities so that you can always get a charging station near you.

There will also be a standalone charger installed across key malls, IT parks, and popular locations across the country to ensure you’ll always find a charger near you.
