Arriving November 3rd as a free update, the “Desolation” DLC packs a lot of punch – including an entirely new, fourth world, a new type of collectible item system, and a backstory written by internationally bestselling author Peter V. Brett!
Culminating the studio’s 3 years of experience making games on the Oculus Quest, the new content has been built from the ground up to further advance the game’s acclaimed visuals. Moody and atmospheric exteriors, as well as beautiful and dangerous catacombs, will challenge players in new and different ways
“This update is our gift to our amazing players, our incredible community, many of whom have been playing the game for almost 1.5 years now, some of whose runs take multiple weeks, some telling us they beat the game at 100% on multiple player profiles”, says Superbright’s CEO Wojtek Podgórski.
Players get a lot of new content as the new world comes with 4 new types of enemies, 3 new special arrows that serve as both the game’s weapons and spells, 1 new pickup item, 14 additional achievements, and much more.
The new world is very atmospheric with state-of-the-art Oculus Quest graphics, new visual effects, and 3D models and shaders making the world of “In Death” better than ever. The new levels’ real-time lighting, volumetric fog, and realistic reflections are a must-see on Oculus Quest.
