After years of rumor, it looks like Konami is bringing back the infamous Silent Hill series. In fact, several of the IP’s spinoffs have been confirmed to be in development. Among the rumored developers of the remake is Bloober Team. It is said that a new main part of the game will be developed, with the spinoffs being released separately.
The team behind The Medium has been linked to a Silent Hill reboot. The company has also been linked to a reboot of the game, according to AestheticGamer. But it isn’t clear what the relationship with Bloober Team will involve. Nevertheless, it’s a great sign for fans of the franchise. But a Silent Hill remake may be far from that.
Regardless of what the new game’s title is, fans of the series are predicting that Konami is working on several Silent Hill games. According to NateTheHate, a fan website, the team is developing a Silent Hill 2 remake. The team behind that game is known for creating the Layers of Fear, Observer, and The Medium remakes. The rumor claims that the remake will feature new puzzles and be a timed exclusive for PlayStation.

The original game was a groundbreaking horror experience. It was a small package, but packed with substance. The game touched on themes like chronic illness and guilt in nuanced and compelling ways.
According to the article, BT is working on three titles

The game also explores the grey area of emotions and narrative. Whether the players’ emotions are real or imagined, they will never be able to be completely clear. A remake of Silent Hill would not only be a big step in the franchise’s development, but also an excellent chance for a much-needed reboot.
