A Plague Tale: Requiem Launches on October 18, Price Editions and More

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a stealth RPG and it will officially launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 18, developer Focus Entertainment today announced. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch. For more information, visit the official website. In addition to the regular game, A Plague Tale: Requiem will also be available as a collector’s edition.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a sequel to the award-winning A Plaguetale: Innocence. It follows Amicia and Hugo as they travel south to start a new life. Their journey takes them across the Mediterranean as state forces try to track them down and capture them. But not all of the creatures they come across are out to harm them. The game features several weapons and unearthly powers.

Despite being released on the Switch in a cloud-based format, the game is a native port of the PC version. Asobo Studio has not yet revealed a price for the Switch version. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XS on October 18.

While the original game focused solely on puzzles, Requiem has a more mature approach to story and combat. Where Silent Hill 1 had limited combat options and focused almost entirely on puzzles, Requiem has a more violent, brutal style of combat. Amicia is shown using a crossbow while Hugo uses a rat army to fight enemies. If you’ve been waiting for this game, don’t miss it.

A Plague Tale: Requiem Standard and Collector’s Edition Price

The standard edition of A Plague Tale: Requiem is priced at $49.99, while there is also A Plague Tale: Requiem Collector’s Edition available for PC – Steam for $189.99.

The Collector’s Edition of A Plague Tale: Requiem includes the base game, an incredible statue of Amicia and Hugo, and several collector items!
