Google has launched its latest home security camera – the Nest Cam – in India. The battery-powered cam can be placed virtually anywhere, free from outlet clutter and messy wires. The built-in night vision and HDR technology enable the camera to take clear pictures in all kinds of light – including low light and darkness.
Google Nest Cam With Rechargeable Battery Price in India Rs. 11,999. The Nest Cam is currently available for Tata Play subscribers in major cities in India including Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi + NCR, Lucknow, and Jaipur. The Google Nest Cam Battery can be purchased from the Tataplay store.
The price in India will most likely be much higher, especially after tax. The product is clearly aimed at high-end consumers and makes little sense for the Indian market. Moreover, the device will require a subscription to Nest Aware to use its features, which starts at Rs. 3000 a year and supports 1-4 cameras.
The Nest Cam features an IP54-rated waterproof enclosure, which protects it from dust and water. The battery is rechargeable, thanks to the built-in 6Ah, 3.65V lithium-ion battery. The Cam also features a 3.3-foot indoor charging cable, a 7.5-watt USB-A power adapter, and 10m and five-metre weatherproof cables.
The Nest Cam’s rechargeable battery lets you watch live video in 1080p HD on the screen or on your phone. The Nest Cam also features a feature called Activity Zones, which helps you find out where people are. With an HDR resolution and night vision, the Nest Cam supports 1080p video footage. Another great feature is the support of the Google Home app. With this app, you can control the Nest Cam and even talk to your security camera.
