Microsoft has launched Outlook Lite, a new lighter version of its popular Outlook app for low-end Android devices. With the launch of the new Microsoft Outlook Lite app, users can now enjoy all of the benefits of using Outlook on their Android devices. It is optimized to run smoothly on Android devices, even those with a limited amount of RAM, and is battery-friendly too. It works across all networks worldwide, including cellular networks, including 2G and 3G. Microsoft claims that more countries will follow in the near future, and the app is available to download now.
The streamlined version of Outlook has a small file size of 5 MB and should run faster on a phone. It will run on any 2G or 3G network and be optimized for low-end devices. It will also be compatible with a variety of devices, including older Android smartphones and tablets.
The new version will be compatible with all mobile networks and will consume less battery. It also includes the features of Outlook for Windows, including a calendar board that helps users organize their email and to-do lists. Microsoft analyzed 2G and 3G networks, which it left off of its roadmap for Home Windows 365.
The new app is currently available for Android users in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Peru, Thailand, and Turkey. The new version of the Outlook app is available in 14 countries and will soon be available worldwide.
Initially, the Outlook Lite app only supports accounts from Microsoft Exchange and 365. It will also support Hotmail, Live, and MSN accounts in future updates. However, users are encouraged to submit feedback for the app on Microsoft’s 365 Feedback Hub.
