iOS 16.0.2 Update Fixes iPhone 14 Pro Camera Shake, VoiceOver and Other Issues

Apple has released iOS 16.0.2 for iPhone users. The update is very small in size and fixes bugs that were previously reported with the iPhone 14 Pro and other older iPhone models. The update is recommended for users of iPhone 14 and later. You can download the update by visiting Settings > General > Software Update in your iPhone.

One of the biggest bugs that this update fixes is the copy and paste prompt. This prompt appeared more often than it should have and was causing users to experience problems. In addition, it caused password managers to fail to copy and paste OTP codes. The update also fixes some issues with VoiceOver and touch input.

This update has many improvements and fixes for major bugs. Among other fixes are an improved camera experience on the iPhone 14 Pro, a fix for a camera shake issue on the iPhone 14 Pro, and numerous other bug fixes. As always, it is important to make a backup of your data before updating your iPhone. Also, make sure to charge your iPhone to at least 50% before upgrading to iOS 16.0.2.

In addition to fixing camera bugs, iOS 16.0.2 also fixes another major bug. Before the release of the update, third-party apps such as Snapchat and TikTok were making noises when focusing the camera. In addition, iOS 16.0.2 fixes a bug that prevented users from transferring data from an old iPhone to a new one.

During the transfer process, the display of the new iPhone would sometimes become black and require a hard reset. Additionally, Apple has also resolved a copy-paste bug, which caused an application to prompt for permission to copy the clipboard.

iOS 16.0.2 Changelogs

This update provides bug fixes and important security updates for your iPhone including the following:

  • Camera may vibrate and cause blurry photos when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • Display may appear completely black during device setup
  • Copy and paste between apps may cause a permission prompt to appear more than expected
  • VoiceOver may be unavailable after rebooting
  • Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone X, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 displays after being serviced
