Gran Turismo 7 has received a major 1.31 update that brings five new cars and two new Nurburgring track layouts to the game. It also introduces a 120fps mode for those with PlayStation 5 and displays that support it.
The Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.31 features a clutch of new cars that include the Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM ‘19, Porsche 959 ’87, and a Porsche Carrera GTS 904 ’64. The Sprint layout cuts the Grand Prix circuit at Nurburgring short, while the Endurance layout expands it with a full loop of the Nordschleife.
Additionally, there are a few changes to the physics of racing vehicles. These include a limiter to keep engine RPMs from rising too high when the car is stopped. This is in response to an issue with anti-lag systems causing the engine RPMs to rise too high while driving.
There are also some changes to the steering algorithm for DualSense controllers and handling of certain road cars has been adjusted. Performance Point adjustments have also been made for various cars in the game.
