Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games released a new story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This trailer shows how the galaxy is changing five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as renegade Jedi Cal Kestis continues his fight against the Empire.
The trailer also reintroduces familiar characters like Merrin and Greez Dritus, as well as a few new Force-capable partners that join the rogue Jedi on his quest to save what’s left of the Jedi Order. There’s even some gameplay snippets that show how players can team up with AI to wreak havoc and take down enemies.
It looks like we’re in for another adventure with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we’re incredibly excited to see what Respawn has in store for fans. The last Jedi game from Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment was a critical and commercial success, and we’re sure this sequel will build on its predecessor’s fast-paced combat and puzzle-solving elements while adding some new challenges and open worlds to explore.
We don’t know if Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will get an EA Play trial period (like we did with Fallen Order), but we’ll be sure to keep you updated as it gets closer to its April 28 release date.
The first Jedi game to be developed on next-gen consoles, Respawn’s upcoming title is a must-play for Star Wars fans. It’s being praised by the development team for being built on the latest technology and boasting real-time ray tracing to enable it to run at higher frame rates than any previous title from the studio.
