Arkane Studios has just announced that Redfall is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It’s a new co-op shooter from the team behind Dishonored and Prey. Redfall on PC also comes with support for the NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex for the best experience on PC.
Redfall is set on an island infested by vampires, and it’s up to you and your squad to clear out the hordes of these mystical creatures before they can take over. As a team, you’ll be able to use each hero’s unique abilities and weapons to combat the cultist vampires that have overrun the island.
You can choose from four playable characters – Layla Ellison, Jacob Boyer, Remi De La Rosa, and Devinder Crousley – to fight the forces of evil on Redfall. Each of them has their own style of play and special abilities that you can unlock as you explore the island.
A new breed of vampires has taken over the island by blocking out the sun and pushing back the ocean to cut it off from the rest of the world. These aren’t your average bloodsuckers – they were created by science as part of a longevity experiment that went wrong.
They have a very different outlook on life and a lot of their followers are devoted to blocking out the sun. They’re also very powerful and have a whole hierarchy of power that you’ll need to break through.
Aside from the story campaign, Redfall also features a deep co-op mechanics where up to three friends can band together for an epic adventure through a beautiful open world. If you’re looking to jump into the action today, there are some special pre-order bonuses you can grab on Xbox Game Pass.
