Apple has significantly expanded its presence in India by opening a new state-of-the-art and sustainable corporate office in Bengaluru. This new office, which spans 15 floors, has the capacity to accommodate up to 1,200 employees. It’s located at Minsk Square in the heart of the city, close to several landmark buildings and spots such as the Vidhana Soudha, the high court, the central library, the Chinnaswamy cricket stadium, and one of Bengaluru’s largest green parks.

The new office is not just another workspace but is designed to foster innovation, creativity, and connection. It includes dedicated lab spaces, areas for collaboration and wellness, and the renowned Caffe Macs.

Moreover, this new addition to Apple’s corporate footprint in India aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainability, as the office will operate entirely on renewable energy and is crafted using locally sourced materials like stone, wood, and fabric. The interior design also incorporates native plants, contributing to a more eco-friendly environment.

Apple’s teams in Bengaluru will be working across a wide range of the company’s business sectors, including software, hardware, services, IS&T, operations, customer support, and more. The proximity of the office to Cubbon Park metro station ensures easy public transit access for employees.

This expansion is a part of Apple’s ongoing commitment to India, where they have nearly 3,000 employees and have been carbon-neutral for corporate operations since 2020. The Bengaluru office is expected to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum rating, the highest level of LEED certification, demonstrating Apple’s focus on environmentally sustainable practices.
