India Ann Sushil Sood, born on April 6, 2002, in Vancouver, BC, is an emerging Canadian singer-songwriter known for her emotional ballads and impressive mezzo-soprano vocal range. She is the daughter of famous musicians Ashwin Sood, of English and Indian descent, and Sarah McLachlan, of Scottish heritage. India has a younger sister, Taja Summer Sood.
