The Last of Us Part II Remastered” is now available, offering players an enhanced experience of the acclaimed game on the PlayStation 5. This remastered version includes a host of improvements and new features. One of the key highlights is the introduction of “No Return,” a new roguelike survival mode that allows players to engage in randomized encounters and experience combat in a fresh way.

This mode features a variety of playable characters, some of which are new to the franchise, and allows players to customize their runs and compete on global leaderboards.


Another notable addition is the Guitar Free Play mode, where players can strum various unlockable instruments and modify their performances with audio FX pedals, playing as different characters.

The remastered version also includes a deeper dive into the game’s development process, offering insights into previously cut playable sequences through a set of “Lost Levels” with developer commentary.

Enhancements specific to the PlayStation 5 include improved graphics with options for 4K output in Fidelity Mode, 1440p upscaled to 4K in Performance Mode, and an Unlocked Framerate option. These enhancements make the game’s world—from the snowy mountains of Jackson to the rain-soaked cityscape of Seattle—more immersive and visually stunning.

Additionally, the game takes full advantage of the DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, along with improved loading times and new accessibility options.

This remastered edition promises to provide both new and returning players with a definitive experience of Ellie and Abby’s emotional journeys, enriched by the technological capabilities of the PlayStation 5.

“The Last of Us Part II Remastered” has been eagerly anticipated for its PlayStation 5 release, being touted as the definitive way to experience the sequel. The W.L.F. Edition of “The Last of Us Part II Remastered” is a collector’s delight. It comes with a SteelBook display case and additional digital content for the PS5 console. The package includes a total of 47 Society of Champions trading cards, out of which eight are rare holographic cards.

These trading cards, which were a hit among players in the game, have been brought to life for the fans. Additionally, the edition contains a Washington Liberation Front Patch and a set of four enamel pins. This edition is a unique offering, giving fans a tangible piece of the game’s world.

For those who already own “The Last of Us Part II” on PlayStation 4, there’s good news. They have the option to upgrade to the digital version of the remastered game on the PS5 for a fee of $10 USD. This upgrade allows players to continue their journey seamlessly, as they can import their saves from the original PS4 game to the remastered version on PS5.

This remastered edition is not just a visual and technical upgrade but also a celebration of the game’s legacy, offering both new players and returning fans an enriched and deeper experience of Ellie and Abby’s story on the PlayStation 5.
