Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is heading to iPhone and iPad on Apple Arcade with a special Arcade Edition. The iOS version of the game will officially launch on February 5, 2026, letting players build empires on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
This is the full base game experience from the PC version, now optimised for touch screens and smaller devices. Players can guide civilizations from stone age to space age, just like the main game that came out in 2025.
Apple Arcade subscribers can get the game as part of their plan, no extra cost or in-app buys. It’s one of four new games added that day.
The Arcade Edition skips DLC but keeps the core fun of strategy, city building, and leader battles. Early previews show it runs smoothly on iPhones and iPads.
Fans on social media are excited for Civilization VII on the go. One post called it a “dream come true” for mobile gamers.
