Opera GX Mobile Browser Launched for Android and iOS Gamers

Opera GX Mobile browser has been launched and it’s the world’s first browser made for both Android and iOS gamers. Notably, there is also Opera GX for desktop that was launched back in 2019. Now the developer of Opera browser has launched the mobile version of its Opera GX browser for Android and iOS.

The new browser release follows strong user demand. “Since the day we launched Opera GX, our users have relentlessly asked us for a mobile version of the browser. Today, we are happy to share the first beta version of the new browser,said Maciej Kocemba, product director of Opera GX.

The new Opera GX Mobile – the world’s first mobile browser is designed specifically for gamers and comes with a host of features for gamers such as GX Corner, Fast Action Button (FAB), vibration and haptic feedback, Flow, and more.

GX Corner

The home screen of Opera GX Mobile is called GX Corner that shows users gaming news, deals and discounts on games, release dates, upcoming games, trailers, and has filters for Windows, Mac, Linux, consoles, and VR.

is a unique Opera GX feature. In the mobile browser, it sits below the search bar and the browser’s speed dial. The browser for mobile devices comes with four available themes: GX Classic, Ultra Violet, Purple Haze, and White Wolf.

Fast Action Button (FAB)

On Opera GX Mobile browser, users can choose between the Fast Action Button (FAB) and standard navigation. The Fast Action Button comes with two rows: the menu (bottom row) that lets you search and open or close tabs, and the tabs row (top row). It also comes with vibrations and haptic feedback.

Flow

Flow feature, allows gamers to sync mobile experiences with the computer version of Opera GX by simply scanning a QR code displayed in the desktop browser. Opera Software says that gamers can use Flow to share files of up to 10MB in size.

It also comes with an inbuilt ad blocker, cookie dialogue blocker, cryptocurrency mining protection, and pop-up blocker. The beta version of the Opera GX Mobile browser is currently available for download on both Android and iOS.
