My Experience from Entourage to Outlook!!!!

Entourage is the central point of my Mac
world in the sense that it serves as a hub from where information travels.
Entourage has several features that are also available in Outlook such as Inbox
Management, calendar and a few more but still it could not be able to replace
Outlook. Here, I am sharing my experience with Entourage. My journey with
Entourage was good but I had to switch to Outlook due to a few disappointing
features.

This is what I like most in Entourage:
·
Mails categorization is one of
the most decent features.
·
Customize views of Entourage
really makes it “An easy-to-use” mailing platform and helps in saving time as
well.
·
Spotlight integration helps in
better searching experience.
·
With Entourage, it is too easy
to handle multiple mail accounts.
Most annoying things about Entourage:
·
Entourage is having a big issue
in Synchronization. It does not work well with tasks, categories, emails and
notes synchronization.
·
Another big drawback of this
method is that you cannot attach files to it later on, and you cannot modify
the text any longer, so if you need to make additional changes, you will have
to open the Word document again and repeat the “Send to” procedure after you’re
done.
·
Entourage does not support OBD
protocol that allows edit email using external editor.
·
Entourage does not support
HTML.
·
There is no inbuilt archiving
feature available in Entourage.
Though Entourage is not really bad but
yes it is not even closer to best and this reason forced me to switch to any
other better option. At that point of time, I needed a very advanced emailing
platform which can make my professional life easier so I decided to migrate to
Outlook.
After carrying out a lot of Google search
I found a tool that can help in performing Entourage to Outlook migration. Name
of that decent utility is “Stellar MBOX to PST Converter”. I used that tool to
perform MBOX to PST conversion so that I would be able to view my years of
Entourage data in Outlook. That tool is having too simple user interface that
even a non technical person can work on that software and the most important
thing about that tool is “ It is too secure to perform conversion of crucial
information”.
