When you talk about a small phone, you are no longer talking about the same dimensions that you would have considered in the past. When you think back to many years ago, we all got excited about the thought of a phone held within a wristwatch. In practical terms, this kind of technology really doesn’t work and the reality is, we are gradually accepting that a screen size of between 4 inches and 5 inches is probably the way forward as we look to enjoy the touch screen experience.
The kinds of activities that we carry out in our phones are getting more and more advanced as we look to browse the Internet, send emails, engage with social networking platforms and even video chat across continents.

The requirements of phones have become clearer as the popularity of different features have been highlighted by consumer popular demand. With all this context, a small phone is regarded as a thin, well-dimensioned phone that is comfortable to use one-handed and is relatively lightweight. This review discounts any phone that has a smaller screen than 4 inches as being too small to use.

The Apple iPhone 5

Coming in at number 3, we have the Apple iPhone 5, a terrific phone that has built on the following that the series has had since 2007. The phone sold almost 50 million phones in a quarter and has been a tremendous success. It has a dual core 1.3 Gigahertz processor, an 8 megapixel camera, and a 4 inch display that is just about as good as anything else in the market. Of course, it runs the IOS which provides users with a comfortable Apple interface. Those that love Apple, have loved the Apple iPhone. It weighs in at just 113 grams

The LG Optimus G

In second place, we have the LG Optimus G. It is a terrific phone that has brought LG back into the smartphone picture. LG had been suffering somewhat and failing to connect with the public and critics. But this phone offers so much. It has a 13 megapixel camera offering amazing picture quality and high definition video. It manages to squeeze a 4.7 inch screen into dimensions that hardly exceed that size, and it has a brilliant quad core 1500 megahertz processor that keeps things smooth and flowing throughout the user journey.

On top of this, the battery time is 15 hours of talk time and there is 235 hours of standby time. It certainly is an incredible phone that has revolutionized LG’s opportunities in the market. The Google Nexus 4 is also an LG constructed phone. They really are doing well at the moment.

Motorola Droid Razr

In first place, we have the Motorola Droid Razr. This phone is simply superb. Motorola have managed to bring back the Razr series with a real vengeance. The phone is dual core with 1200 megahertz and 1 Gigabytes of RAM to the 4.3 inch screen that is rarely bettered in the industry, and a 12.5 hour talk time. The camera takes excellent pictures and its 8 megapixels providing HD video as well.

Some people may question why the Motorola , with slightly inferior statistics compared to the other two, got top spot. It looks absolutely beautiful. It is a wonder to behold and marks the complete revitalization of the Razr series after a number of years in the wilderness. It’s great to see an underdog come up fighting and produce such a quality handset.
