The Design
The Nokia 8 features a unibody design built out of 6000-series aluminum, the smartphone will be available in glossy Polished Copper and Polished Blue colors, as well as matte Tempered Blue and Steel, finish variants. The Nokia 8 is IP54 rated, which makes it water splash-proof.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 8 is powered by a Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC. There is only one variant of the Nokia 8 packing 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, though the phone will release in single SIM and hybrid dual SIM options, depending upon the markets. The storage can be expanded via microSD cards of up to 256GB capacity and it packs a 3090mAh battery.
The Cameras
It features dual 13-megapixel with f/2.0 RGB and monochrome sensors on the rear, HMD Global has also claimed that the new Nokia 8 cameras also have an ability called “bothies” – which can be used to capture images and videos from the front and rear cameras at the same time.
Additionally, the Camera app on the Nokia 8 will also let you stream these ‘bothies’ as full-HD live videos to Facebook and YouTube by fusing both pictures into a single picture. HMD says it worked closely with Qualcomm to enable Dual-Sight video streaming on the Nokia 8 while minimizing the thermal impact of the processing required.
Nokia 8 Price, India Launch Date,
The Nokia 8 will be available Globally in early September, priced at EUR 599 (approximately Rs. 45,000). In India, the Nokia 8 will launch in early October, at the similar price point mentioned above.
