Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Likely to Launch in India on February 14

The news about the Xiaomi Note 5 was speculated several times via many leaks and rumors but now Xiaomi has finally got the Note 5 launch date to February 14. The Xiaomi Note 5 official launched date can be found on the event page on the Mi.com site. So, its pretty much clear now that Xiaomi will be launching the Mi Note 5 on February 14 at an event held in New Delhi.

As of now, we have the following specifications about the Mi Note 5 based on various leaks and rumors. Redmi Note 5 will come with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

It is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32/ 64GB storage. The device is also expected to come running MIUI 9 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The Redmi Note 5 may sport a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor.

It could also be coming with secondary 8-megapixel front camera sensor with 1080p video recording. The smartphone is also rumored to include a 4100mAh battery. Lastly, some early renders show a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.
