IFA 2018 trade show is already up and running and we have seen a lot announcement from smartphone manufactures in last two days. Now in addition to this, BlackBerry has also announced its new mid-range smartphone called the BlackBerry KEY2 LE. As its key highlight, the KEY2 LE comes with a dedicated Physical Keyboard for typing. The Key2 LE is basically a cheaper version of the Key2 which was launched earlier this year and there isn’t seems any difference in terms of deign as well.
BlackBerry KEY2 LE Specifications
The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage with microSD card support. The features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×1620 pixels with3:2 aspect ratio.
There is a 3,000 mAh battery with up to 22.5 hours runtime and for connectivity, it comes with dual-SIM support, USB Type C, USB 2.0, USB OTG, NFC, FM Radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
On the camera department, there is a dual camera setup with 13-megapixel (f/2.2)+5-megapixel (f/2.4) sensors at the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter. The rear camera comes with HDR, up to 4K video recording at 30 bps, scan function, secure photo area and portrait (bokeh) mode.
BlackBerry KEY2 LE Pricing and Availability
The BlackBerry KEY2 LE will be available in Black/Blue, Black/Gold, and Black/Red colour options priced at $399 for the 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage variant and $449 for 64GB storage variant.
It will be available for sale from next month in the US, UK, Germany, France, and Canada. The BlackBerry KEY2 LE price and availability in India is not yet announced.
