Vivo X21 was one of the best smartphones from Vivo’s X series which was launched back in May. We had also covered a couple of reasons to buy the X21, now Vivo has launched its new Vivo X23 smartphone in China. Some of the main key highlights of the Vivo X23 are the in-display fingerprint sensor, dual cameras on the back, waterdrop notch and Super AMOLED display, among others.
The Vivo X23 comes with a 6.4-inch Full-View Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2340 and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC.
There is only one variant of the Vivo X23 that comes with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It packs a 3,400mAh battery also comes with 22.5W fast charging support. The Vivo X23 comes with twin-turbo acceleration technology which offers two features – System Turbo and Game Turbo.
In terms of the camera, the Vivo X23 sports vertically staged dual camera setup with 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 primary sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens secondary sensor. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with FunTouch OS 4.1 skin on top.
The Vivo X23 will be available in Phantom Purple, Phantom Red and Blue colour variants priced at CNY 3,498 (around INR 36,000) for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset will go on sale in China starting Sept. 14. The company has also launched a special Vivo Logo Phone that will be available in the market by Oct. 1.
At the time writing, Vivo did not mention the global availability of Vivo X23 and special Vivo Logo Phone variant.
