Dell at CES 2019 has announced its two new Alienware m15 and m17 laptops. The Alienware m15 is a refreshed version that was launched back in October last year, however, the Alienware m17 laptop is the latest addition to the Dells Alienware lineup this year. Both the laptops will be available in Epic Silver and Nebula Red color options and will go on sale starting January 29.
Dell Alienware m15 and m17 Gaming Laptops Specifications
The Dell m15 laptop now comes with an Intel Core i9-8950HK processor and Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 2018 graphics cards, including GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, or a GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q. The 15.6-inch Alienware m15 comes in two display panel options. The first is a full-HD IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate while another is an HDR-400 certified 4K panel.
On the other hand, the company has announced the lall-new Alienware m17 which is the thinnest and lightest 17-inch gaming laptop in this lineup.
The laptop features a 17-inch display will be available in full-HD, QHD or UHD panels option depending on your choice. The QHD panel features a max refresh rate of 120Hz while the other features only 60Hz refresh rate.
The m17 comes with two RAM slots which supports RAM up to 32GB of DDR4 memory running at 2,666MHz.
The Alienware m17 also features a full-HD webcam with dual-array microphones, stereo speakers, Killer Networks Gigabit LAN, a combo dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5. For connectivity, the laptop features USB 3.0 ports, one Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port, HDMI 2.0, LAN, a Mini-DisplayPort, a headphone and microphone combo, and an Alienware Graphics Amplifier port.
Pricing and Availability
Both the Dell Alienware laptops will be available for sale starting January 29. The Alienware m15 will be available from starting price of $1,579.99 (roughly Rs. 1,09,700), while the Alienware m17 will be available priced at $1,649.99 (roughly Rs. 1,14,600) in the US.
