LG Electronics has received a new Wi-Fi certification for its upcoming LG Q9 (LM-Q927L) smartphone. However, we don’t know much about the upcoming device as yet, but it looks like the new LG Q9 might get an announcement soon at the CES 2019 this month or maybe at MWC next month in February.
LG is expected to launch its two new smartphones in the first quarter of 2019, which includes the NEW LG G8 and the LG Q9. The LG Q9 recently received Bluetooth SIG certification and now it has received the Wi-Fi certification.
The upcoming LG Q9 smartphone has been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance with the model number LM-Q927L. However, the certification doesn’t reveal any key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, but it does tell us that the Q9 will support the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards.
In terms of processors, we expect the device to come either Snapdragon 660 SoC or the Snapdragon 821 chipset instead. The LG Q9 could come with 4GB/64 or 6GB/128 RAM and storage variants. The smartphone will be running on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box.
