Realme 3 to Launch in Q1 2019, New Realme Device with 48MP Camera is Also in Works, Report

According to a new report, Realme is working on its next mobile device called the Realme 3. In a telephonic interaction CEO Madhav Sheth told Indian Express that Realme is aiming to launch its next device in the second half of 2019. Sheth also revealed that Realme has also planned to open exclusive experience stores in India in the second half of 2019 and is currently looking for a location for its first experience store.

Going by the information provided regarding the new Realme device, Sheth told IE, that Realme plans to launch a new device called the Realme 3 at some point in the first-quarter of 2019. However, Sheth didn’t reveal any other details like the price and specification of the upcoming Realme 3 device.

Additionally, Sheth revealed that the company is also working to launch another smartphone with a 48-megapixel camera. However, Sheth also made it clear that his company has no plan and interest in launching its smartphones with a “punch-hole” screen or triple cameras.

The interaction also revealed that users of the Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1 will be getting the latest Android 9.0 Pie update within the first-quarter of 2019. Users of Realme 2 and C1 can also expect the Android 9 Pie update by Q2 2019.
