Xiaomi’s first Android Go smartphone called the Redmi Go was previously reported to be in works. However, we never saw an actual image or specs details of the upcoming device but today the device found listed on an e-commerce site Lazada. As first spotted by folks at revu, the Redmi Go device seen listed on the online store along with its official poster that reveals full specs of the upcoming Redmi Go device. Notably, Xiaomi is yet to announce the device and we can’t confirm the specs revealed by the poster leaked today.
Since this is an Android Go device you shouldn’t expect highly upgraded specs on the device. However, the leaked poster revealed that the Redmi Go smartphone will feature a 5-inch LCD display with 1,280 x 720 resolution and (16:9) aspect ratio.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and Adreno 308 GPU for gaming. The phone will come coupled with 1GB RAM 8GB storage with expandable storage up to 128GB.
On the camera side, the Xiaomi Redmi Go smartphone will sport a single 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. There will be a 3,000mAh battery and the device will run Android 8.1 (Go Edition) out of the box. Additionally, the Xiaomi Redmi Go phone will be available in two color options including black and blue.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, single band Wi-Fi, a MicroUSB port, and dual-SIM support. It also has support for 4G LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, and 28.
