Samsung has finally made available its Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 smartphone in South Korea today. This is the same device that was launched as Samsung Galaxy A8s last month in China. The key highlights of the device are the punch-hole selfie camera at the front and Dual rear camera set up at the back. The phone has been priced in South Korea at 599,500 Korean Won, which is around $533.
Since the Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 is the same device as the Galaxy A8s, it features all the same specifications as the Galaxy A8s. But in case if you aren’t aware of that, the Galaxy A9 Pro 2019 features a 6.4-inch display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
On the front, the device features an Infinity-O punch-hole selfie camera. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 based on 10nm octa-core processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The device features a triple rear camera setup on its back, there is a 10MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, a 24MP f/1.7 main sensor, and a 5MP f/2.2 sensor for real-time portrait effect. On the front, there is a 24MP punch-hole camera for taking selfies.
The phone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dedicated Bixby button on the side. There is 3,300mAh battery and the device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box.
