Xioami has launched a new device or you may call it a new sibling from its Redmi Note 7 series, the new Redmi Note 7S in India. By launching the new Remi Note 7S Xiaoni as targetted the users who want to use a cheaper version of a 48-megapixel phone. The new Redmi Note 7S has bee priced in India at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and it will go on its first sale starting May 23rd via mi.com, Mi Home and Flipkart online store in India.

Xiaomi has launched two RAM and Storage variants of its Redmi Note 7S, that comes with a (3GB+32GB) priced at Rs. 10,999 and (4GB+64GB) RAM and storage variant which is priced Rs. 12,999. Now let’s check out the specs and the features of the new Redmi Note 7S.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S Specifications and Features

Now if you ask me what is the difference between Redmi Note 7 and its Pro version with new Redmi Note 7S?. Then I should say that there is almost no difference in terms of design and specifications between Redmi Note 7, 7 Pro and the new Redmi 7S. Actually, the new Redmi Note 7S falls between the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro in terms of both price and most of the specs.

It features the same 6.3-inch, Full HD+ resolution display as the Redmi Note 7 with a water drop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device feature 2.5D curved Glass back and front.

The Redmi Note 7S is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage options. The Redmi Note 7S also comes running Android 9 Pie and it features the same 4000 mAh battery, USB type-C port that also supports 18W Quick Charge 4.0.

In terms of the camera, the new Redmi Note 7S features the same dual rear camera setup as the Redmi Note 7 Pro, including the main 48-megapixel camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Up front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone also features a fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. The only major improvements you will find on the new Note 7S is the inclusion of 48-megapixel camera and slightly lower price as compared to the Redmi Note 7 Pro.
