IO Interactive today released the new Hitman 2 June Update aka 2.40 which is now available to download on all platforms including PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The update is expected to be approximately 1 GB in size on consoles and 400 MB on PC. The latest Hitman 2 update 2.40 as its main highlights brings the brand new first post-launch sandbox location called the New York (The Bank) and two new Special Assignment missions including Illusions of Grandeur and Embrace of the Serpent to the game.
To able to download the new location called New York (The Bank) and the Special Assignment missions players will first need to download the Hitman 2 update 2.40 on their platforms. Please note that both these new items will only be available to download for the Hitman 2 Expansion Pass or Expansion Pack 1 owners.
According to the update patch notes, the new Bank Location clock in at 2.5 GB on PC and 3GB on consoles. While for the Special Assignment missions, players will need to download 8.6 GB file on PC and 10 GB on consoles.
Furthermore, The Bank mission also brings new challenges and various unlocks that can be earned through completing challenges and progression through Location Mastery levels as well as new trophies/achievements to earn. In addition, players will also get the Contracts Mode fully enabled.
In addition, the latest Hitman 2 Update 2.40 Patch Notes also adds a new element to the HUD, connectivity and other improvements to the Ghost Mode.
