Vivo has officially announced its new and world’s fastest 120W flash charging technology for its mobile devices. According to the teaser image posted on the official Vivo Weibo account, the new 120W charging tech will charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 13 minutes from 0% to 50% in 5 minutes and 51% to 100% in 8 minutes, making it a total of 13 minutes to fully charge the device to 100%.
The new 120W flash charging technology from Vivo will be 4 minutes faster than Xiaomi 100W tech which was unveiled by Xiaomi earlier this ear in March 2019. Lin Bin, President and co-founder of Xiaomi revealed this via a Weibo post.
In the post, he revealed that the company’s engineers were able to achieve an astonishing 100W fast charging, which essentially charges a 4000mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 17 minutes!.
Now if Vivo releases its 120W flash charging tech then it will surely beat the Xiaomi’s 100W charging technology in the future.
Vivo hasn’t announced any release date as yet for its new 120W flash charging tech but according to the Weibo post, the charging technology will be available in the future.
