Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice New Bloodborne Combat Mod Now Available to Download

Folks ‘thefifthmatt’ at nexusmods has released a new Bloodborne Combat Mod for the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game that brings the combat capabilities from the Bloodborne game. According to the description, the new mod for the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice brings some changes to the game combat capabilities to make it more like the Bloodborne game. The new mod uses dash to prevent damage instead of the block/deflect to prevent the damage. The mod also replaces jump into dash to dodge sweep attacks as well as Mikiri counter to avoid thrust attacks.

The description says that the new mode makes some bosses easier and others harder where players really need to approach them like Bloodborne. The new mod for the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice changes the combat capabilities in the following ways.

  • Use dash to prevent damage – block/deflect does not prevent damage. (This is the point of the mod – it makes some bosses easier and others harder. You really do need to approach it like Bloodborne.)
  • Use dash instead of jump to dodge sweep attacks
  • Use dash instead of Mikiri counter to avoid thrust attacks
  • Remove perilous attack alerts
  • Rally back your health after taking damage by dealing vitality damage to an enemy

This new mod also adds rallying to the game that brings back your health whenever you take damage by dealing vitality damage to an enemy.

Back in May this year, members from Nexusmods including EmperorFaiz, Eyedeability, and Skymoon released three new cool mods for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice including the first mode Gray Fox from Metal Gear Solid, the second mode which allowed players to play as Raiden. The third mode brought Noob Saibot from Mortal Kombat 11 into the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game.
