AMD has released a new Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 driver update for a range of its Radeon graphics cards including the AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series Graphics cards. The latest Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 driver as its main highlights also brings support for Image Sharpening and Anti-Lag, AMD Link, Automatic Low Latency Mode and more. According to the patch notes, the latest Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 installation package contains the driver version 19.30.01.09 (Windows Driver Store Version 26.20.13001.9005).
The new AMD Radeon Image Sharpening feature which can be enabled for DirectX 9, DirectX 12 and Vulkan games provide contrast-adaptive sharpening combined with optional GPU upscaling that helps draw out detail and provide crisp-looking visuals. On the other hand, the new AMD Radeon Anti-Lag feature improves input-to-display response time with up to 31% reduction in lag.
In additions, the 19.7.1 driver update also adds an Automatic Low Latency Mode, allowing supported graphics products to communicate with your connected TV and enter low-latency (gaming) mode automatically. It also adds a new Settings Snapshot features to the settings that allow you to create, save and load your custom settings and configurations for Radeon Settings.
The latest AMD Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 driver also brings a host of fixe to the issues such as Graphics driver may not uninstall correctly when using the express uninstall option on some Ryzen APUs. Check out the full changelog of the latest AMD Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.1 driver update
