An official poster from Xioami’s official Weibo account has now revealed that Xiomai is all set to launch its new wireless charging technology called the Mi Charge Turbo on September 9 in China. The new technology will bring an improved wireless charging with much faster speed. According to the poster, the new Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging technology is designed keeping 5G smartphone era in mind. Currently, Xiaomi offers a max 22W fast charging on its flagship Mi 9 smartphone that was launched in February 2019 this year.

In March this year, Xiomai had also tipped its 100W fast charging tech. The 100W fast charging was said to fully charge a 4,000mAh device in just 17 minutes. However, there aren’t any other details available as to how the upcoming Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging will work or how much time it will take to fully charge a device.

Notably, Xiaomi is not the only company who is working on a faster wireless charging technology. This month in June Vivo announced its new and world’s fastest 120W flash charging technology for its mobile devices.

The new 120W charging tech from Vivo can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 13 minutes from 0% to 50% in 5 minutes and 51% to 100% in 8 minutes, making it a total of 13 minutes to fully charge the device to 100%.

Surely we get more details on September 9 when Xiaomi will finally launch its Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging technology.
