As we are heading to the new year 2020, smartphone manufacturers are also gearing up to bring up their 5G ready smartphone in the market. As part of this, the mid and budget smartphone maker and Oppo’s subsidiary Realme has shared some fresh details about its upcoming Realme X50 5G smartphone expected to launch sometimes in 2020. Realme and Xu Qi Chase, Realme’s product manager have posted the first X50 5G teaser on its official Weibo account.
The teaser image throws some light on the upcoming phone revealing that the Realme X50 5G will come equipped with dual punch-hole selfie camera at the front. The teaser also confirms that the Realme X50 5G will come with support for both (SA/NSA) dual-mode 5G bands.
According to some other Weibo posts, the upcoming Realme X50 5G is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 735 processor, based on a 7nm process.
The phone is also expected to come with a 2.36GHz Cortex A76 and a 2.32 Cortex A76 GHz and 6 Cortex A55 1.73GHz 8-core design, Adreno 620 GPU. No other details including the launch date haven’t yet revealed.
Notably, the upcoming Realme X50 5G is likely to take on upcoming Redmi K30 5G and Huawei Nova 6. Both of which comes under the same price segments with 5G support and dual-screen punch-hole front camera.
Update: Redmi has just confirmed that Redmi K30 5G will be launched on December 10th.
