Redmi K30 Series to Launch on December 10 with Dual SA/NSA 5G Bands and Punch Hole Selfie Camera

Realme just confirmed that its upcoming Realme X50 will come with dual-mode SA/NSA 5G bands and dual punch hole selfie camera. Notably, the Realme X50 will take on Redmi’s upcoming K30 smartphone which has been also confirmed to come with 5G support and dual punch hole selfie camera. However, Realme hasn’t confirmed the official release date for the device yet.

But to mark an official release date for the upcoming Redmi K30 smartphone. Redmi has now confirmed that Redmi K30 series which is likely to include Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro will be launched on December 10. It’s worth mentioning here that the Redmi K30 series smartphone will be the first 5G mobile phone from Redmi.

Redmi’s CEO Lei Jun via his official Weibo account today confirmed that official release date for the Redmi K30 series. Lei also said that “In 2020, Redmi is positioned as a “5G pioneer”. Pioneer means that Redmi will be the first to adopt the latest 5G technology.”

Lei also shared a teaser poster for the release date that also reveals that the Redmi K30 will also come with dual-mode SA/NSA 5G bands similar to the Realme X50.

Now let’s talk about the expected specifications of the upcoming Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro device. Both the devices are expected to run MIUI 11 with Android 10 out-of-the-box.

The Redmi K30 will reportedly come with 30W fast charging support. Further, the Redmi K30 could feature a 6.66-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) display with a pixel density of 395ppi and 120Hz refresh rate.

To recall, Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro both were launched back in May this year with a 6.39-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display. But unlike the pop-selfie camera module on the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro.

The upcoming Redmi K30 series smartphone will come with a dual punch-hole selfie camera module. The Redmi K30 smartphone is also expected to come with Qualcomm’s next-generation, Snapdragon 865 SoC.
