Nokia on Thursday launched its new budget smartphone the Nokia 2.3 in Cairo. The new Nokia 2.3 is a budget smartphone that comes under the 10k price tag. The key highlights of the Nokia 2.3 include dual rear camera setup, a notched selfie camera on the front and 4mAh battery that is said to provide up to two days of battery.

Other highlights of the Nokia 2.3 include dedicated Google Assistant button. HMD Global has touted the new Nokia 2.3 as a camera and entertainment-focused budget smartphone.

Nokia hasn’t yet revealed the availability date for the launch of its Nokia 2.3 in the Indian market. The new Nokia 2.3 has been priced at EUR 109 in Cairo (roughly Rs. 8,600 INR). The new Nokia 2.3 features 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) in-cell display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The rear camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor that also features Portrait Mode and multiple bokeh effects. Upfront, the Nokia 2.3 sports a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

The phone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that can also be expanded further up to up to 400GB via a micro SD card. The new Nokia 2.3 packs a 4,000mAh battery and a 5W charger in the box.
