Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed to September 17, 2020, CD Projekt Announced

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to September 17, 2020. Developer CD Projekt Red today via its official Twitter account announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 which was previously scheduled to be released in April 2020 will now be released on September 17 2020.

CD Projekt said that the game is currently at a stage where it is complete and playable. But there still seems to be more work to be done before its final release.

The developer further noted that Night City is massive that is full of stories, content and places to visit. But due to sheer scale and complexity, they need more time to finish playtesting, fixing and polishing the game.

Now, this has been confirmed that you won’t be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 until September 2020. I think, its always better to push the release date further if there seems to be any chance of complexity and to avoid any kind of major bug at the launch.
