How to Play OSRS Mobile More Efficiently

If you’re an avid fan of Old School RuneScape but unfortunately don’t have the time to spend farming OSRS gold in front of a computer for hours on end, then OSRS Mobile is perfect for you. Granted it’s the same game since it’s essentially a port of the PC version, but there are some key differences between both versions. To lend you a helping hand, we’ll be discussing different tips and tricks on how to play OSRS more efficiently. We’ll also be talking about a few ways to AFK farm on OSRS mobile.

Crossplay is Available

If you have an active OSRS account that has a membership, you can use it instead of creating a new one. Old School RuneScape Mobile is completely cross-platform. This means that you can log into the OSRS account that you’ve had for years and continue your progress from there.

The benefit here is that you no longer have the need to start a new character and pay for the $13.49 per month membership if you don’t already have one.

While you can play the game for free for hundreds of hours even without getting the membership, you won’t be able to access the huge amount of content available if you have the membership.

Don’t Be Afraid to Use Your Mobile Data

Most of the time there won’t be any free WiFi that you can connect to (except when you’re in a mall or an establishment that has one) when you’re out and about. Chances are you’ll be using your mobile data, but you’re afraid that it’ll easily run out by playing OSRS mobile. Luckily, that’s not the case.

Running OSRS Mobile doesn’t take up a lot of resources, so you shouldn’t be afraid of using your mobile data. This is thanks to the graphics of OSRS being quite dated.

Constantly Check the Grand Exchange

The Grand Exchange is a major hub of everything you can get your hands on (with the exception of non-tradable items and the ones that have no money value).

As such, it’s important to always check the prices of the items that you’re interested in because you never know when they might drop. OSRS Mobile is a huge help because it lets you check the Grand Exchange on your phone.

This not only can it help you potentially get great deals on certain items, but you can also determine the right time to sell your items. Always make a habit of checking the statistics and trends of the Grand Exchange, since OSRS’s economy is rather unstable.

Make Use of the Touchscreen

Since you’re playing on your phone, it’s best to make use of the touchscreen. The touchscreen is useful for Thieving. If you’re worried about whether or not it’ll trigger botting and get you banned, don’t be.

Although there’s a chance that you’ll be mistaken for a bot if you’re touching your screen too fast, numerous people have already used the touchscreen either for levelling skills like Fishing or other AFK farming methods.

Conclusion

And that’s about all the things you can do to make the most out of your OSRS experience on mobile! Whether it’s to farm more OSRS gold when you’re out or a great alternative to the PC version.

OSRS mobile is definitely an MMO that’s not easy to put down once you’ve started. Have you played OSRS on mobile? What was your experience with it like? Tell us all about it by leaving a comment down below!
