Realme 5i New Update is Now Available with March Security Patch, Camera Optimizations and More

Two days back, Realme rolled out the latest OTA update for the Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro users in India. The latest update for the two phones brought the final stable build of the Realme UI based Android 10. Realme has also been pushing the latest OTAs with Airtel and Jio VoWiFi (WiFi Calling) support and March security patch to a number of its devices in the last coupled weeks.

And now in addition to this, Realme has started rolling out the new OTA update for Realme 5i users in India that brings the March security patch, a number of optimizations to the camera and fixes the low probability issue of inaccurate automatic brightness adjustment under the sunlight. The new update for the Realme 5i comes with version number RMX2030EX_11_A.18 and weighs at 2.59GB in size.

The new update for the Realme 5i is now rolling out via OTA in batches. So, the update will be available to a limited number of users today and then will be available to all other Realme 5i users in the next coming days.

  • Optimized rear color of Chroma Boost
  • Improved brightness of front video call while using third-party applications
  • Optimized color performance of front camera while using third-party applications
  • Optimized clarity of front camera while night environment

Fixed

  • Fixed the low probability issue of inaccurate automatic brightness adjustment under the sunlight

Notably, the new update is rolling out via OTA, but if you don’t want to wait for the OTA to arrive then you can manually download and install the update by flashing the update package file on your device.

Notably, Realme recently pushed out the latest update bringing the March security patch and Airtel and Jio VoWiFi feature to several of its devices including devices, Realme 2 Pro, Realme 2, Realme C1 and Realme 3.
