Back in September last year, we reported about The Last of Us Part II leaked release date, pricing, and editions from a swiss retailer. The listing from the Swiss Retailer revealed to us that the shipping for The Last Of Us Part II will start from February 27, 2020, with the availability in store starting February 28, 2020. Unfortunately, we didn’t see that happened.
Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima Delayed Again with a New Release Date for June 19th and July 17th.
Earlier this month, Sony confirmed that The Last Of Us Part II will be delayed “until further notice” from its scheduled to release date on May 29th because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Sony has announced that Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II will now be officially released on June 19th.
“As we begin to see an ease in the global distribution environment, I am pleased to confirm that The Last of Us Part II will arrive on June 19,” said Hermen Hulst, Sony’s head of worldwide studios, in a statement.
Unfortunately, Sucker Punch Productions’s and PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima has also got delayed again by almost a month. Sony, today also confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima will now be relaesed released on July 17th, from its previous June 26th scheduled release date.
There are a few finishing touches to apply and bugs to squash – so we’ll put these extra couple weeks to good use.
