Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone with Side Pop-up Camera, 144Hz Display, 90W Charging Surfaced

Lenovo seems to launch its first self-branded gaming phone soon. According to the XDA Developer report, who have managed to grab some fresh details including multiple official marketing videos and screenshot of Lenovo’s upcoming Legion gaming smartphone.

The fresh details come from one of their trusted sources and claim that the upcoming Lenovo smartphone which is most likely the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone will come featuring a Side-mounted Pop-up Camera, 144Hz Display, 90W wired charging tech. The 90W wired charging is said to charge the phone’s 5000mAh battery 100% in just 30 minutes.

The videos also revealed that the Lenovo Legion gaming phone will feature worlds first side-mounted selfie camera and dual USB Type-C charging ports: one on the bottom and another on the side. Further, the report reveals that there will be a SIM card tray alongside the primary USB-C charging port at the bottom of the Lenovo Legion phone.

The Lenovo Legion gaming phone also appears to have a dual rear camera setup at its back with a Legion logo design underneath the LED flash in the middle. Notably, the back of the selfie camera has “LEGION” logo which matches Lenovo’s official Legion Gaming logo and Lenovo’s official “Stylish Outside” and “Savage Inside” texts slogans.

The marketing videos also further showed visuals that demonstrate the phone’s “uEngine,” its symmetrical dual X-axis linear vibration motor. Then the video went on showing the phone’s cooling and audio features. The teaser video also said to reveal two full symmetrical 65mm dual speakers located on the top and bottom bezel on the front.

Further details revealed that Lenovo Legion will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and will have UFS 3.0 internal storage and LPDDR5 RAM. However, there is no details on the exact storage or RAM capacities.

The phone will run on Android 10 with Lenovo’s ZUI 12 customizations on top. Lastly, the report reveals that Lenovo Legion will come featuring a dual 64MP + 16MP wide-angle and a single 20MP front-facing camera.

Notably, Lenovo started teasing its first self branded Lenovo Legion Gaming Smartphone when it first launched its official social profile on Chines social media site Weibo last year.
