World War Z GOTY Edition with Marseilles DLC Releases Today, Check Out the Full Details Here

World War Z GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition with Marseilles DLC will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One today on 5 May 2020. Now, if you have missed our previous post on the announcement then here I will be sharing the full details on the World War Z GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition and Marseilles DLC that will be available today on All platforms.

World War Z GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition with Marseilles DLC will be out today and cost players at $44.99. Notably, the new World War Z GOTY Edition will include the full base game as well as all DLC contents released so far. The DLC will include a new location located on the French Riviera in the new Marseille map.

New Marseilles Map Locations, Levels and Missile Launcher

Dmitry Grigorenko, the Lead Game Designer os World War Z at Saber Interactive in a fresh PlayStation blog post revealed that the new ”Marseille map is a unique setting and probably the most diverse location we have created so far”

The new map features various distinct locations with their own individual levels. Each level has a different theme with one level which is entirely dedicated to the defense of Fort Saint-Nicolas.

However, to make the player’s journey through the new Marseille map more interesting and fun. Players will also get the massive missile launcher to blow up the map and blocking the approach of a massive zombie swarm.

However, this won’t be as easy as it sounds, Dmitry says that the launcher is difficult to aim: as one player will have to operate the controls while another will assist with targeting. The other two players will have to continually reload the missiles and fend off the swarm.

World War Z GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition and What it Includes

Notably, World War Z GOTY (Game of the Year) Edition will include three new Marseille missions, four new characters, and all character and weapon skin packs released so far including the following.

New Episode! Three new PvE missions in the French city of Marseille with its own maps, story and characters.
● Weapon Packs! The Lobo Weapon Pack, Biohazard Weapon Pack, Military Bundle Weapon Pack, the upcoming Last Aid Weapon Pack, plus 1 more upcoming weapon pack.
● Characters Packs! The Professionals Character Skin Pack and War Heroes Character Skin Pack.

World War Z GOTY Edition will also include all other free content relaesed since the launch of the game. This will include Horde Mode Z, Xbox One and PC crossplay update, new PvE missions and enemies, a weekly challenge mode, extreme six-skulls difficulty setting, and more.

With the new World War Z GOTY Edition, players will also get a new playable class with a unique skill tree and abilities, coming in a free update later this year.

You can get access to the new Marseille DLC content by purchasing the Marseille DLC individually, Season Pass, or the GOTY Edition that also includes all of the DLC. Also note that, if you are playing with your friend in a private lobby then only one of your friends will need to have the Marseille DLC for you to play together.
